Daniel Bontems, osteopath D.O.

Making the link between disciplines, forms of medicine and bodies.

A former PE teacher with a Master's in sports science (STAPS), I have been an osteopath D.O. since 2011. I have added university diplomas in anatomy applied to medical imaging and in micronutrition, training in pain neuroscience, a master's in sports osteopathy and more than 90 postgraduate courses.

I practise in Neuilly-sur-Seine and Aix-en-Provence, I work with elite athletes in France and abroad, and I teach at osteopathy schools (CEESO Paris, IFFCO) and shiatsu schools.

Why this particular practice

What set me in motion did not come from books.

Between 2004 and 2016, I supported many people close to me through illness. I saw what years of searching without an answer and delayed diagnoses mean. Since then, I have never stopped training and surrounding myself with the best, so that others do not go through what I went through.

That is where my standards come from: never to run out of answers, and to look for the link when no one is connecting the pieces. Years of training, travel and encounters with practitioners from around the world have shaped this way of reading the body.

My training

More than 90 postgraduate courses, including: sports osteopathy, pain neuroscience, neurology, the neuroscience of palpation, endocrinology, and the osteopathic approach to phonation and dentistry.
